Your Timing is Perfect

Have you ever experienced perfect timing? The moment when you run into an old friend at the grocery store at the exact time you forgot an ingredient? Or you make the perfect professional connection at just the right moment when you’re wondering how you’ll make it by? Has a friend ever called you because, “You were on their mind” right when you needed encouragement? What about that time you decided to leave early for an appointment and avoided a terrible car accident? There are so many moments in our life that we have absolute perfect timing. I would argue, we have that every day if you’re looking for the signs.

This happened to me the month of August. Everything happened, every single day at the perfect time. I couldn’t have planned my interactions with friends, strangers or connections i needed at just the right time. It felt divinely orchestrated. there was no other explanation.

There were even times when I missed a text message - an important one - but it was still better timing for me to receive it later. most recently, a connection with a physician that is going to help me heal. Although it feels, “10 years too late” the reality is, he is right on time in my life. in fact, the science and technology hadn’t caught up to what I already knew!

It may seem like we are too late or far too early for a moment, but we are being divinely aligned for such a time as this. In other words, “your timing is perfect.”

I understand that even you read this, you are skeptical. Painful things have happened to you, or are happening. How is one to trust the timing of things when everything is off by just a beat? trusting the timing of events doesn’t mean diminishing the real pain and challenges people face. Instead, it offers a way to hold that pain with a sense of patience and understanding.

There are many great minds that have tried to understand time:

  • Carl Jung’s concept of synchronicity described it as "a meaningful coincidence" that points to a deeper order in life, showing how the universe aligns events in ways we can’t always predict.

  • Viktor Frankl’s work could also be relevant: “When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”

  • Eckhart Tolle, author of The Power of Now: “Life will give you whatever experience is most helpful for the evolution of your consciousness.”

  • astrologer Chani Nicholas, who often talks about aligning with cosmic cycles and trusting the timing of the universe. she has said, “Astrology reminds us that things happen when they are supposed to, not necessarily when we want them to.”

So, if you’ve happened upon this blog today, trust the timing of it. Perhaps it’s the words you needed for this moment to move you from a place of confusion to trust.

We simply need to align ourselves with this belief and watch it unfold in our lives with acceptance and grace.
